Winner of the 2006 Premi Solidaritat: ÀGORA Association.

On December 19th, 2006, the jury (composed of Xavier Badia, Miguel Angel Gimeno, Alex Masllorens, Arcadi Oliveres, Roger Revilla, Ferran Sales, Josep Maria Solsona, Francesc Triola, David Bond and i Jaume Saura) decide to give the XX Premi Solidaritat to AGORA Association.

The ÀGORA Association has been awarded for its trajectory of thirty years devoted to the education of adult persons, based on the participation, the democracy and the respect to the human rights. This entity includes the human rights in its educational program as a frame of reference for a peaceful and constructive communal life.

The Prize consists of an art work, given freely by an artist, and a commemorative plaque given during an official act in the Catalan Parliament on the 13th February, 2007.

The picture was given by the youngh artist Elsa Pons.

Ràdio 4 received the Honorary Prize for Work in the Mass Media

Within the work of the Premi Solidaritat, the HRIC also gives a special mention to outstanding work in the Mass Media. In 2006 the recognition was given to the "Ràdio4", first public broadcasting station in Catalan. With this distinction the jury wanted to recognize its work of more than thirty years, guaranteeing the right to the information from the public service, and fostering the presence of the Catalan language and culture in the media.
