At the IHRC we believe it necessary to make an in-depth consideration of some of the EMERGING HUMAN RIGHTS. Whether for their general importance or current significance, we have chosen some emerging rights with the idea of further considering their content and analysing their implications.

As well as the information on these emerging human rights, the conclusions of the IHRC participatory seminars, the IHRC publications on emerging human rights, and a library containing different documents on emerging human rights can all also be found in this section.

Since the Universal Declaration of Emerging Human Rights was approved in Monterrey, the IHRC has continued to work on the new text, carefully considering and adding some new emerging human rights. As a result of this, we will continue to add new emerging human rights to this section.
