The Institute of Human Rights of Catalonia offers scientific consultancy on human rights to public institutions and private entities.

Advice and accompaniment are fundamental tools for including a human rights perspective in public policies. Little by little, a true culture of human rights is being created in which the values and principles of the fundamental rights of people are a central theme in all public policies.

With this vocation, the IDHC carries out varied work such as studies, legal reports, scientific consultancy and the accompaniment of public and private institutions that have requested it. In this way the vision and knowledge of human rights experts are introduced into a broad range of sectors.

As part of its consultancy work, the IHRC gives technical and scientific support to the development and application of the European Charter for the Safeguarding of Human Rights in the City.
