SCHOLARSHIP FOR WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE OFFICE OF THE UNITED NATIONS' HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN GENEVA
This scholarship is presented to postgraduate students who have presented a paper about the international protection of human rights and the role of the United Nations within this, and have completed the IDHC Course in Human Right. The scholarship is a three month stay in the Office of the United Nations' High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva.
The beneficiary of the scholarship on 2009 is Júlia Lladós Vila with the paper “Els agrocombustibles: un nou repte pel desenvolupament sostenible”.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE
Five scholarships are presented to students of the IDHC human rights course that have presented work about the Council of Europe, its institutions, and its mechanisms for protecting human rights.
The scholarships consists of a 15 day stay in Strasbourg in the head office of the Councill of Europe during the month of September or October, coinciding with the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly, the Court and the Commission.
The next stay will take place at Septembre-October 2007 and the scholarship includes transport, accomodation and living expenses for the recipients.
The winners of the last scholarship on 2009: Miriam Cámara Navarro, Alejandro Gaya Moreno, Maria Alba González Perez, Ariana Potrafki and Anna Recoder Lloveras.
PRACTICES IN THE SÍNDIC OF GREUGES OF CATALUNYA
From amongst the students of IDHC's human rights course a scholarship is granted to a graduate of Law for a six month stay in the Síndic de Greuges de Catalunya (Catalonian Ombudsman).
The beneficiary of the scholarship on 2009 is Tania Reneaum Panszi with the paper “Una norma jurídica, dos realidades: el caso de las mujeres presas”.
