L'IDHC participarà al coloqui del proper cinefòrum d'Amnistia Internacional, un espai on el cinema es converteix en un mitjà per parlar de drets humans.<\/p>\n

En aquesta ocasió la pel·lícula projectada és el documental "The Look of Silence"<\/i> (2014) de Joshua Oppenheimer.<\/p>\n

Aquest documental aborda els assassinats massius comesos a Indonèsia a mitjans dels anys 60<\/b> a través dels ulls d'una família de supervivents que descobreix l'execució extrajudicial del seu fill i germà i la identitat dels homes que van matar-lo, que encara continuen en el poder i que mai no han retut comptes per aquests fets.<\/p>\n

El documental és una reflexió profunda sobre la impunitat, la justícia i els crims contra la humanitat.<\/b> "The Look of Silence"<\/b> <\/i>va ser premiada en l'edició 2015 del Festival DocsBarcelona <\/b>amb una menció especial del jurat, el premi del públic i el Premi Amnistia Internacional <\/b>"per buscar la veritat, la justícia i la reparació a les víctimes i per mostrar la impunitat en què viuen els perpetradors i responsables de les matances de 1965 a Indonèsia. Per fer-ho amb una pel·lícula directa i incòmoda, però que alhora transmet amb mestria una visió molt humana i empàtica de tots els protagonistes de les massacres”.<\/i><\/p>\n
